The current watch, part of the Patrimony Traditionnelle collection from Vacheron Constantin and was released to celebrate the brands rich horological heritage as world's oldest watch brand in continuous operation since its foundation in 1755.
The current watch cased in 18k pink gold is a fantastic interpretation of the classic Vacheron Constantin 2-register chronographs of the brands past. Whilst at 42mm it certainly larger and more contemporary looking than its forefathers, its heritage is clear. The silvered dial with tachymeter scale and rose gold baton markers conceals the hand wound 21 jeweled caliber 1141 with 48 hour power reserve. The exhibition caseback clearly display the beautifully finished movement.
