Richard Bernard Skelton, nicknamed “Red” was born in 1913. Skelton was an American comic known for his radio and television work between the mid-1930s through the 1970s, and during his lifetime received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work. Skelton hosted the Emmy-award winning show - The Red Skelton Show, which was on air for 20 years. 


The present watch has a personal inscription, and belonged originally to Red Skelton. Skelton gifted the watch to his personal friend, and it has remained in their family ever since.
