The GMT-Master ref. 16750 was produced roughly between 1981 and 1988. The rather short-lived reference is considered as a transitional reference by the most astute collectors, as it introduced modern features to the previous ref. 1675. The most notable addition is undoubtedly the cal. 3075, beating at at resolutely modern 28'800 bph and allowing the date to be independently set - a true ergonomic improvement!
The power reserve of the watch was therefore increased to 50 hours and the case water-resistance became 100 meters.
The present Pepsi example features a nicely patinated and early matte "SWISS-T<25" dial, pre-dating the 1986 transition to glossy dials with white gold circling to the indexes.
