Created in tribute to one of the two founding fathers of the manufacture in Le Brassus, the Edward Piguet collection is discernible by their elegantly curved rectangular cases. The present reference 25924PT features one of the most complicated feats in watchmaking, namely a tourbillon, which lies embedded in a see-through rutilated quartz plate that makes up the dial of this watch. An aesthetic innovation, it gives the timepiece a special look and thanks to the naturally occurring inclusions every piece can be considered unique. In addition to figure as the dial, the quartz plate also holds the mechanical movement in place, which required exclusive techniques to cut the stone and protect it from thermal shocks. The exquisite character of the watch is enhanced by the geometry of its bridges, inspired by Galileo's pendulum.
