The present military issue wristwatch is particularly rare for a number of reasons. The model, issued in 1964 by Leonidas is a marked TIPO CP-1, confirming that it is a stop watch (Cronometro da Polso) with a smaller case size at 38 mm diameter. CP-2 models feature a larger 43 mm case. The watch also features hacking minutes to the register, the only AMI model known to have this complication.
