Introduced to the market in 1996, reference 5038 was made in a limited edition of 500 examples in white gold only. It is defined by its distinctive beaded bezel, black dial and contrasting white roman numerals. The dial design or the reference 5038 features two dial apertures for day and month were replaced by sub dial indicators at 3 and 9; a design the firm initially introduced with its reference 3940. This clean dial appearance makes it one of the easiest perpetual calendars to read.
