The ref. 4216 was a staple of 1970s and early 1980s Patek Philippe production for women. Favored as a presentation watch, this example was given as a gift to a friend of the ruling Iraqi regime. The Patek Philippe archive describes the dial as “sunburst cobalt blue dial, 13 applied white gold indexes, “Eagle” symbol”. Complete with a white 18K gold Ellipse buckle, this watch represents a little slice of history and a wearable work of art from Patek Philippe.
