Gerald Genta stands as one, if not the most iconic wristwatch designers of the 20th century. His contributions to the industry include the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Patek Philippe Nautilus, Omega Constellation, IWC Ingenieur among many other legendary designs
Aged 38, Gerald Genta launched his own eponymous brand in 1969. The innovative designs and complex horology grasped the collecting world's attention, with some of the most impressive pieces adorning the famous wrists of creatives, actors and eminent royal family members. In 2000, Bulgari acquired the rights for the Gerald Genta brand, horizontally integrating the know-how and designs to their own collections.
The present Arena Sport Retro is crafted from titanium and was sold in 2009. This signature piece includes the brand's famous Jump-Hour display on a highly legible white dial. Fitted with a retrograde date indicator at 6 o'clock, the timepiece furthermore includes a hacking seconds mechanism for a precise setting.
This collectible Arena Sport Retro is offered with its original Certificate of Origin and International Warranty dated March 27, 2009 in addition to its original documentation with setting pin and presentation case.
