Lot Details

Description

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 1982

Talence (Pessac-Léognan), Grand Cru Classé

u. 1bn, 1vts, 2 labels slightly scuffed, 1 slightly soiled, 2 slightly soiled and nicked, labels have been cut along bottom edge, 2 capsules slightly damaged around collar

This is consistently beautiful at every showing. In 2018, it has a perfume of a Provençal herb garden and the best Havanas. On the palate, there are wild cherries with smoky cassis. The tannins are now soft, but the structure, as ever, is present as well as the verve. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
