Description

Château Mouton Rothschild 2004

Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé

Excellent levels and appearance

Label Artist: HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale. 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. In 2020, cassis, brambles and wild heathery notes on the nose, really heady. On the palate, mouth filling, fresh and seductive. There is a crispness to the fruit and yet it is so supple and velvety. The first vintage completely under the control of Philippe Dhalluin and he cracked it! Côte de boeuf wine, par excellence.  Serena Sutcliffe, MW
