Glorious rich, complex, liquorice nose, reminiscent for me of the great Calon Ségurs of the Twenties.  A really intoxicating bouquet.  Great rich depth and dimension on the palate.  Ripe and powerful, sweet, exotic and endless on the finish.  Seems indestructible.  This has to be one of the very greatest 1970s in Bordeaux.  Serena Sutcliffe, MW
