KONG KAI MING 江啟明 | TUNG WAH MUSEUM 東華三院文物館

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of TWGHs, eminent artist Kong Kai Ming bestowed his drawing of Tung Wah Museum in 1986 as seen on the skateboard upon TWGHs. Revealing the changes over the decades, the image bears a great significance to TWGHs.

Kong Kai Ming, BBS, born in 1932, is one of the few first-generation Hong Kong artists who was born and raised locally. Devoted to art creation and art education, Kong has taught at several institutes successively and nurtured innumerable outstanding students. Also, he has contributed significantly towards the art development in Hong Kong by publishing over 60 books in art education. His artworks have been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Malaysia, China, etc.

藉著東華三院150周年，江啟明老師將此幅於1986年以東華三院文物館為題材的素描捐贈予本院，細味景物的今昔對比，別具意義。

江啟明BBS，1932年出生於香港，是本地第一代少數土生土長的畫家。多年來一直醉心於藝術創作及教育，先後任教多間院校，桃李滿門；更出版超過60本美術教育書籍，對香港藝壇貢獻良多。作品曾於美國、日本、馬來西亞和中國等地展出。
