the barrel with a white silver sleeve pierced and well chased in relief with baskets of fruit and acanthus all enclosing three oval vignettes of putti - one carrying a bouquet of flowers, another with a sickle and rake, the third with a basket of grapes on his head, the cover with a seated putto warming his hands by a fire, chased acanthus borders outlined by beading, large leaf-spray thumbpiece with matching handle base
marked on base, cover and base rim with maker’s markand town mark
