Condition report

This spectacular mirror is in overall very good conserved condition, retaining its original gilding. The piece has been submitted to a professional clean recently and some of the rock crystal metal wire fittings strengthened, inclduing some replacements to sprays. There are some small losses to gilding as expected and some small repaired breaks to carvings namely to apron and crest central leaf motif, and to the middle right handside acanthus. The rock crystal seems to be in very good condition with very small losses, retaining the majority of the pendants. The mirror plate apparently original.
