The photographs include a view of Baku harbour, an oil well near Baku, and buildings at Surakhani (attributed to F. Mishon) in Azerbaijan; and the mausoleum of Timur in Samarkand, and the citadel and market at Bokhara in Uzbekistan, both by F. Hordet.
