A fine group of Bescancenot's photographs taken during his travels in Morocco between 1934 and 1939 when he was researching and documenting traditional costume and adornment. Each photograph has manuscript notes by the photographer about the location and subject of each picture.
This portfolio was specially compiled by the photographer for the present owner in 1981 (letter enclosed)
