Two large engraved maps of the eastern and western hemisphere (mm.), contemporary hand-colour, minor marginal to foot of centrefold of 'Mondo Vecchio' 

FINE CONTEMPORARY HAND-COLOUR. Detailed maps found in Coronelli's comprehensive atlas Atlante Veneto. The engraving is based on the geographical knowledge presented in Coronelli's large gores of 1688. It combines: "the most up-to-date cartographical information with elegant engraving and restrained accompanying decoration" (Shirley).
