Private Collection,
Donated by Noor Fares.
'Wannabe', the group's debut single, was released in July 1996 and reached No.1, beginning the Spice Girls' record-breaking run of six consecutive UK No.1 hits in the space of just 18 months. The leotard was found at a car boot sale and adapted by Geri’s sister, Karen Davis, for Geri to wear in the iconic video.
