Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions and dents consistent with age and use. The wood with some occasional irregularities and separations to the grain, which is typical of inland fir and most of which were filled in at the time of production. The middle, proper left vertical pole on the backrest with a small surface loss to the upper edge of the pole; the middle, proper right pole also with a small surface loss. The seat cushions and back cushions are fully upholstered on both sides, with one side upholstered in leather and the other in Chimayo wool, and are reversible. The leather has been sensitively replaced in a manner consistent with the artist’s intent and is in very good condition with occasional very minor surface scratches or abrasions and some minor creasing consistent with gentle use. The proper right armrest with some stray black marks towards the back edge, not visually distracting. The proper left armrest with one small black mark, also not visually distracting. The Chimayo wool weavings are in very good stable condition. All of the cushion loops are in very good stable condition.
