Probably Roger William Wilbraham (1817-1897), Delamere Manor, Cheshire;
Anonymous sale, London, Bonhams, 5 July 2017, lot 19 (as Attributed to Batoni).
The sitter of this portrait is likely to be a member of the Wilbraham family, who probably still had the painting in Delamere Manor in the 19th century. Based on his costume, the painting can be dated to the 1760s, making George Wilbraham (1741-1813) the most likely sitter.
