With Derek Johns, by 2003.

Jeanne-Elisabeth Chaudet (née Gabiou) was a French painter renowned for her portraits, mostly in the close circle of Napoleon and the Empress Josephine. The painter also took up the subject of children, as seen in the present work.

Charlotte Foucher endorses the attribution to Chaudet based on first-hand inspection.
