In 2019 and from magnum, magnificent. Big, winey, grapey and walnutty, with huge freshness and impact - it had been stored chez Krug until 2017. On New Year's Day 2020 and from bottle, all-powerful, all-pervasive nose, rich and Krug-esque. On the palate, silky/lanolin/vanillin and a huge mouthful, with that orange peel and honey flavour that shows majestic maturity. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
