A PAIR OF REGENCY PATINATED BRONZE TORCHÈRES, CIRCA 1810, IN THE MANNER OF THOMAS HOPE


after the antique, the slightly recessed top with egg and dart gadrooned border and fluted bowl shaped foot leading to two ring turnings centred by a chased acanthus leaf ring, on a fluted column issuing from a cluster of stylised palm leaves on three acanthus leaf draped monopodiae with claw feet on a triform plinth terminating on bun feet
