A charming object in overall reasonable and very original condition consistent with age and use. Some minor chips and loses to peripheral edges and carved detail commensurate with age. Metal ware discoloured and tarnishing slightly. Generally the object would benefit from a gentle clean. Underside of lid with circular patches of discolouration corresponding the canisters and the contents thereof. With key although lock mechanism not effective. One or two minor resin restorations again entirely consistent with age and use. One noticeable chip to carved clasp to left side proper. The green baize fabric is loose but still effective.
