A striking piece in reasonable condition commensurate with age and use. The specimen top with old marks, chips, scuffs and scratches notably to peripheral edge, again entirely consistent with age and use. The specimens employed are superb examples. See website for high-resolution images for the top from above. The modern base inspired by models at Duff House generally in excellent condition and only a few minor losses to rear of plinth base likely at points of inherent weakness in the fossilized Hoptonwood stone.
