the associated veined marble top on a cavetto moulded and foliate carved frieze on a stepped pedestal support of four scrolled brackets with acanthus leaves and bell flower garlands on imbricated breakfront rosette and dart carved plinth base, re-decorated

Marble top with minor old chips to edges and scratches. The marble top is not in the round. It is possibly associated.

Re-decorated with grey/white paint with evidence of former gilded surface underneath. Some very minor separations at joins as to be expected.

Minor chips and loses to painted surfaces revealing original gilded surface, and some areas not re-decorated one 5cm section of carving missing to frieze and other minor chips and losses consistent with age and use.

Boldly carved and versatile as can be side table or centre table.
