Add note: Formed in 1832, the Vale of the White Horse Hunt (V.W.H) is a fox hunting pack with its original country including South Oxfordshire and Old Berkshire. In 1886 the country was divided due to disputes within its membership, the then Earl Bathurst raising a pack at Cirencester and Charles Hore kenneling hounds at Cricklade. Under Earl Bathhurst and his heir’s control, the hunt rose to great fame (as well as for their glittering hunt ball) and the two packs were reunited in 1964.
