The object is an architectural fragment, of which the left side is lost. There are two old fractures either side of St Michael. The saint to the immediate right of St Michael has lost his head and his proper right arm. St Michael’s proper right hand and spear are lost. There is particular wear to the surface on the left side, particularly to the figure of St John. The stone appears to have been heavily weathered in this area. The St John has lost his feet. There are various losses to the moulded edge, in particular to the top left edge and to the right side edge. There are various further losses and there is surface dirt.
