of kantharos shape, with scrolled handles on each side, the rim decorated with trailing vine ornaments in relief, the lower half of the body with gadroons, on a waisted circular, socle on a further square base

This beautiful vase is in very good condition, with very minor chipping and marks. There are two recent chips of about 1cm. each to lip. There is wear and chipping to the edge of socle where it joins the body of the vase.
