from a border, depicting in multicoloured tesserae a bird facing left amidst foliage.

37 x 48 x 6 cm.

Tesserae reset into new mortar/cement bedding with losses around edges and corners. 

Strip of reddish paint along border below bird's feet. 

Uneven surface with traces of repolishing and possibly some shellac.
