This work bears a small pencil sketch of another taureau by the artist's hand on the verso. Executed on cream wove paper and not laid down, the sheet is hinged to the mount with an adhesive tab in each of the upper corners. There is an artist's pinhole in each of the upper corners. There is a diagonal crease in the upper left corner, with some smaller creases elsewhere. There is some very slight cockling to the sheet, predominantly at the extreme edges, in keeping with the artist's working methods. There is some slight surface dirt and studio matter to the sheet in places. The work is in overall good condition.
