Executed on thin card, the sheet is hinged to the mount at the upper corners. On the recto, there are the remnants of removed tape in the lower left and right corners. There is a score running faintly through the paper visible only under raking light across the centre right of the composition. There is some rubbing and staining along all four edges of the composition probably from a previous mount. On the verso there are a few light spots of foxing along the lower edge. The paper has been lightly skinned in two places where tape has been removed towards the upper right and lower right corners, with some associated discolouration. In the lower left corner a pinhole is visible and the faint pencil outline of an encircled number which is now illegible. The work is in overall good condition.
