each with a carved scallop form back above an oval reserve painted with a crest
An identical model, but without painted crest, stamped 'Gillows Lancaster' is in the collection at Abbot Hall Museum and Art Gallery, Kendal, illustrated in Country Life, 9 September 1993, p.65 and in M. Burkett, A History of Gillows of Lancaster, Lancashire County Council, 1969, p.14.
