4¾-inch open-centered dial with outer date and inner day indications, centre seconds, finely pierced and engraved lyre time hands, signed below 6 Coteau, surmounted by a lunar dial with lunar date, a further open-centred dial below indicating the months and four seasons, the two-train bell striking movement with single spring barrel and outside count wheel, the strike winding the remontoire to the weight-driven going train, with pin wheel escapement and large horizontal balance, the frame applied with finely cast and chase mounts and applied with enamel plaques decorated in blue and gilt, the rectangular plinth inset with a frieze depicting putti at play, on toupie feet; together with a later mahogany stand and glass dome

Clock 50cm. 19¾in. high; Stand and Dome 61cm. 24in. high

Time dial and hands in good condition, very minor hair crack at 9, lunar dial and lunar date extensively restored and could be improved, month dial with a minor hair crack. Movement is complete but very dirty and not currently running, it will require a clean, service and overhaul. Frame and mounts in good condition and retaining the original gilding, enamel plaques in generally good condition with one or two very minor hair cracks, central plaque may originally have had a signature but is now rubbed. Plinth base has very minor edge chips and marks to the marble but otherwise good. Later stand has scratches throughout, glass dome has a crack to the rear.
