In overall good conserved condition. Minor losses and rubbing to gilding, however this is not distracting. Minor chipping, one notably to the lower left of the frame inner edges. The bottom half of the vine frieze in particular shows signs of minor breaks, notably to some leaves and the putto on the left, both of which have been restored. Construction splits to either sides, as to be expected given age – this is visible in the catalogue image. One construction split just above the bottom half of the vine frieze would benefit from further attention. Impressive size and decorative.
