There is a small area of gilding restoration on the rim at 8 o'clock, approximately 2cm long.

With minor stacking surface wear throughout, including a few sports of loss to the painting, visible in the catalogue image.

The central reserve of the present plate was painted after Lev Belousov's composition 'Junker of the Life-Guards Caucasian-Mountain Squadron', executed in 1829.
