painted with classicising figures of a priestess, a standing woman with a deer, a seated man with a sphinx and a winged deity, with antique ornament in black on a terracotta ground, the borders with a chain of anthemia, three with a blue Imperial cypher of Nicholas I and one with a green cypher of Alexander II
