A rare photograph of Emperor Nicolas II (1868-1918) and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, Princess of Hesse-Darmstadt(1872- 1918), seated in a garden 1894, another of the Imperial couple standing outside the Schlols Rosenau, Uhlenhuth Coburg 4. Elisabeth (Ella) Grand Duchess of Russia, Princess of Hesse­-Darmstadt (1864-1918); signed and inscribed "Thanking you for the happy days at Clarence House 1897", atelier Assikitoffs Moscow and another of her by the same atelier showing her in the year of her marriage 1884 standing next to a flower table, signed and dated in red ink, together with a printed postcard of Emperor Alexander II written by the Grand Duchess to her sister-in-law Grand Duchess Marie Alexandrovna, Duchess of Edinburgh (1853-1920): "God bless your X-mas & New Year my dearest Marie; 5.
