the oval body repoussé and chased with dendritic scrolls and horns-of-plenty, both sides with cartouches engraved ‘18 June 1902’ and ‘18 June 1911’, raised on four feet resting on a circular onyx base mounted with a plaque engraved in Russian ‘To our dear Director F.F. Proyar / as a memento / from the managers and workers of the South Russian Glassworks’, struck throughout with maker’s initials, 84 standard
