A SET OF EIGHT PORCELAIN PLATES FROM THE SERVICE OF GRAND DUKE KONSTANTIN NIKOLAEVICH, IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, PERIOD OF NICHOLAS I (1825-1855), 1848-1852
centred with stylised gilt flowerheads, the borders with emerald green, gilt, brick and black strapwork ornament relieved by medallions with the Imperial double-headed eagle and the Grand Duke's cipher, with blue Imperial cypher of Nicholas I
