LISA LYON

gelatin silver print, large-format, flush-mounted, framed, the Ginny Williams Collection label, a Robert Miller Gallery, New York, label, and a Whitney Museum of American Art exhibition label on the reverse, 1981, unique in this format (Lady, p. 78; Danto, p. 140)

30 by 30 in. (76.2 by 76.2 cm.)

This unique, large-format gelatin silver print is in generally very good condition. When examined unframed, the following are visible: a few small mounting bubbles near the upper edge; a pin-point-sized nick to the emulsion in the upper right quadrant; and tiny losses of emulsion along the edges where the photograph is in contact with the frame, none of which is visible when viewing the photograph framed.
