DOROTHEA LANGE | UNTITLED (UNEMPLOYED MEN)
UNTITLED (UNEMPLOYED MEN)
gelatin silver print, mounted, signed and dated in pencil on the mount, 1933
9⅛ by 6⅞ in. (23.2 by 17.5 cm.)
This print is in generally excellent condition. There are a few very small chips at the edges, and a 1/8-inch strip of emulsion is peeling away from the paper layer at the upper right edge.
The mount has been unevenly trimmed and then taped to a mat. '34021-2' is inscribed in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse of the mount. There is a Ginny Williams Collection label on the reverse of the mat.
When viewed under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
