platinum-palladium print, flush-mounted to aluminum, signed, dated, editioned '7/9' and annotated in pencil and stamped on the reverse, framed, 1972, printed in 1975

Condition Report

This photograph is in generally excellent condition. Visible in the margins are the following: very faint, uneven pale yellow discoloration at the periphery of the image and 2 nearly indiscernible foxmarks, one in the lower right quadrant and one in the lower right margin.


On the reverse, there are tape remnants at the edges and some faint, scattered soiling overall. The copyright stamp is dated '1974' in pencil. Other stamps on the reverse read 'Hand-coated by the photographer' and 'Deacidified.' The annotations in pencil are as follows: 'Rives Paper on Aluminum, Multiple Coating and Printing, 1. Platinum, 2. Platinum-palladium, Print made April 1975'; 'No more than 9 original prints of this picture will ever be made'; 'C 457'; 'MM'; 'LD'; and 'NEG. NO. 118.'
