This romantic comedy was directed by Richard Quine, and stars William Holden, Audrey Hepburn, Gregoire Aslan, Raymond Bussieres, Noel Coward and Tony Curtis, together with a cameo from Marlene Dietrich. Richard Benson (played by William Holden) - an old-time playboy - is commissioned to write a screenplay. Instead of getting on with writing the screenplay, Benson leaves it until two days before it's due, much preferring to immerse himself in his flamboyant lifestyle. All very last minute, Benson hires a secretary, Gabrielle Simpson (Audrey Hepburn), to type the non existent script. Benson is inspired by the beautiful Gabrielle, and together they put together a script.
