This dramatic image of the Queen of Egypt's (Claudette Colbert) head floating above the pyramids was unique to the German release of the film. Stone lithography German posters of this era are considered to be some of the finest film posters produced.

Exceptionally rare. To-date fewer than five of these posters have surfaced.

This biographical drama has been a favourite subject of studios throughout film history, with notable leading ladies playing Cleopatra. These include Theda Bara in 1917, Claudette Colbert in 1934 and Elizabeth Taylor in 1963.
