oil on panel

panel: 6½ by 11¾ in.; 16 by 30 cm.

framed: 9½ by 15 in.; 24 by 38.1 cm.

The panel is flat, uncradled, stable, and beveled on all four edges. The paint surface is well preserved and reads clearly with good retention of detail. Inspection under UV reveals an area of old retouching in the upper left corner and some retouching at the right edge, just above center. Ready to hang as is. Offered in a decoratively carved giltwood frame.
