PORTRAIT OF AN OFFICER, FULL LENGTH, WEARING A RED COAT

oil on canvas

canvas: 28⅞ by 23 in.; 73.3 by 58.4 cm.

framed: 34½ by 28¼ in.; 87.6 by 71.8 cm.

Canvas is lined. Image reads well with its colors well preserved. A thin line of discolored retouching is in the grass at right, though this is not too distracting. Inspection under UV shows an uneven varnish with further reading impeded. Painting can hang as is. Offered framed.
