The canvas is lined, and the paint surface is slightly dirty with a slightly discoloured varnish. Small discoloured retouchings are visibly scattered in the background and the stone ledge. Inspection under ultraviolet light confirms these and also reveals a restored damage in the rightmost peach in the basket, upper right, approx. 6 x 3 cm. The painting is in overall good condition, which will benefit from cleaning and a brightening of the varnish.
