The canvas has a firm relining, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small, sensitively executed retouchings in the face, neck and arm of the girl on the left and in the chest and arm of the girl on the right, as well as scattered in all the figures’ dresses. There are also some small retouchings scattered in the background of a minor nature. The painting is in overall good condition.
