The painting has been relined, the paint surface is clean, and the varnish is clear and even. There is some evidence of wear in the darker areas, but the brighter colours are very well-preserved. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered spot retouching in the lower left corner and in some of the fruit, lower centre, and spilling from the bowl, lower right. There is also minor strengthening in the dark areas around some of the flowers, centre. In overall good condition.
